Still Catching Up

Just a quick post tonight.  I thought that I would add a few more pictures from Christmas.  The first one is Megan, the Family Drama Queen posing in her sequined scarf.  It was done out of Berrocco Laser FX and Trendsetter Perla .  The second picture is of one of my other nieces, Shelby.  Her scarf was knit out of 2 strands of white Lion Brand Fun Fur held together with a strand of white Fancy Fur with the colored slubs.  The last picture is of Cheryle and her knitted capelet.  The pattern is a free one from the Lion Brand Yarn website and the yarn was Lion Brand Jiffy in the color El Paso.  It is really pretty in person.  It reminds me of the trees on a beautiful autumn day.

I finished knitting the Moonlight Wrist Warmers, but I have not finished sewing them up yet.  I just don't know where all the time goes!  I also finished the Glad It's Night Scarf, but I did not get any pictures of it before I gave it to Juanita last Sunday.  I will get some pictures of her modeling it for me this weekend when we go over there.

Well, that's it for tonight.  Maybe if I hurry, I can get those wrist warmers sewn up tonight before bedtime!

Lisa, how exactly is that caplet worn?  I've seen them before but not quite like that one.  Is it worn like a scowl or cowl?  Nevertheless it's very  beautiful.  You're right about the  colors, real autumn like.  I was just reading tonight and decided to view your archives.  Niced work.
