Show and Don't Tell!

Here are the latest 2 finished Christmas presents.  I will show them to you, but will not tell who they are for just in case one of the recipients happens by here!  The poncho is really soft and warm.  I like how the Colorwaves yarn makes a subtle striping pattern.  It photographed just a bit darker than it really is.  I used the same pattern as the Unikat poncho, but it came out a bit longer, so I have decided not to fringe it.  For the scarf, I wanted something a little more substantial than just Fun Fur, so I mixed the Fun Fur with TLC Amore.  The result was a nice blend of furry and warm and snuggly soft!  I like this scarf.  I might have to do one for myself out of this combination after Christmas!  Well, I am off to hopefully finish the other scarf that I mentioned yesterday, and I am also in the process of cutting fringe for my Unikat poncho.  The weather has turned colder again, so I have hopes of wearing it soon!

Hey there! Sorry I haven't been around lately - I got distracted with everything that's been going on (hopefully Dec. is better than Nov!)  & haven't made my usual blog rounds. But - happy belated Blogversary & very nice poncho & scarf! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. :)
