Hurry Before the Fad Fades!

I enlisted the help of a friend yesterday, and got the yarn for the Unikat poncho wound into balls.  Last night I started knitting the poncho.  Since I only finished 5 rounds, there was not enough progress to take a picture of, but I did put a "before" picture of the yarn on so that you can see the fabulous colors.  I can't wait -- I am going to love this poncho!  The yarn is so thick and feels so good -- but it is also light and airy.  And the colors are awesome! I know it is time to begin Christmas knitting, but I figured that if I didn't hurry up and knit this poncho, the fad might fade out on me!  Although Megan assures me that they are "Soooooooo  kewlie-o."  (I think that means they are still in!  What language is she speaking, anyway????)
